In Colombia it is an inflection of cimbrar or cimbrarse. It has two meanings. One is to place wires on a fence (cimbras), wire, fence. The other meaning is to be frightened, to be terrified, to feel dread, to frighten. Terrified, frightened, fearful. Also even in the same sense it is used to be ringed.
