They are two of the common names that we give to the possum in Colombia. It is also called tantrup or calatrupa. Its scientific name is Didelphis marsupialis and belongs to the family Didelphidae.

CHUCHA or FARA in Colombia : American marsupial mammal up to 50 cm long, rat-like appearance, pointed snout and long, bare prensil tail in which the young hang; it's nocturnal and omnivorous. In Chile chucha is a popular vulgarism by vagina, and also an exclamation of surprise or displeasure.
