They are a very delicious fruits of sweet white pulp. They are the fruit of the Cherimoya, which is a tree of the family Annonaceae and its scientific name is Annona cherimola. In language quechua chirimuya means seed trust: seeds ( chiri ) cold ( muya ). It is native to Colombia, Peru and Ecuador.
