In Colombia is a surname of Spanish origin. Chinchilla is also the name of a small rodent with a genus of rodents that belong to the family Chinchillidae. Skin very thin and native son of andes of Peru, Bolivia and Chile. Colombia takes nurseries of chinchillas. In quechua means small and quiet. There are two species, and are endangered.
