Meaning of chimu

The correct term is chimu. It has two well distinct meanings. The Chimú in the Colombio-venezolanos Plains is curing tobacco or tobacco jelly. Chimú is also the name of a pre-Inca culture that had its heyday between the 7th and 13th centuries, on the North coast of the Peru. They stood in the architecture and urbanism.
