Plural of charemba . It is the name of a plant and its fruits. In Mexico it is another way of calling sour capulins. It also receives many other names, such as : maroon grapes, pozocillos , chagalopolis , querembes , yagalán colorado , ingaloan , laurel , pigeon feet. Its scientific name is Ardisia compressa and belongs to the family Myrsinaceae.
