It is a fermented drink typical of the Department of Nariño in Colombia (mostly from its capital Pasto). It is also called boiled or guarapo (huarapo). It is taken hot and has some liquor and pulp of different fruits such as lulo, passion fruit, pineapple, blackberry. At present, to prepare it faster, only the liquor is added to the fruit juice and boiled.
