In Quechua language it means "bright sun". It is the name of an ancient and large pre-Columbian city that hit northern Peru. It was built in adobe by the indigenous Chimú in what is now metropolitan area of the city of Trujillo. It is located on land of today's Huancayo and Trujillo Districts.
