chachi

Another meaning that I recently got word " chachi " reinforces the previous meaning: " chachi " It means also Union of waters of rivers, creeks, etc. place where converging waters, or where the waters come together which is the case of the Mucuchachí River. " Mucu or mucus " It is the same, says that the Indians spoke a mixture between the u and o, the Spanish conquistadors passed it agreed to as her heard. That is why there are names with u and o. as Mucuchachçi, Mucucharani, Mucutuy, Mucuruba, etc. and others such as Moconoque, Mocotone, etc.

" chachi " It is possible that its meaning is " abundant water " or where there is much water. There is a village called Mucuchachí in Venezuela Mérida. mucu = place and chachi = abundance of water, effectively saying people has always plenty water, has many streams, alleys, creeks and rivers.
