Town of León near the Bañeza in the region of La Valdería whose name derives from Castrum Gunterici, fortress rebuilt by the Vandal Gunterico in the fifth century on the Roman castro that Pliny the Elder had controlled in the first century directing the mining extractions made by thousands of slaves.
