Typical food of the Colombian Caribbean coast of Panama, with a mass of cassava which is populated coastal cheese or ground meat or other foods and then be fried in plenty of oil. It is said that it is a combination of the words Caribbean and Spanish, in reference to the origins of ingredients. There is also the not proven reference that originated in the town of Puerto Colombia, Atlántico, Colombia and is one of the emblematic snacks in the barranquillera meal, together with the quibbe of Arab origin.
