The correct term is candombé or candomblé. It is a word of Bantu origin and refers to the animist African rites or the dance that takes place in those rituals.

Candomblé is incorrectly written, and should be written as "candomblé" being its meaning: Candomblé = Candombleel candomblé, worship of orixás, of totemic and family origin, is one of the afrobrazilian mainly practiced religions in Brazil even though he has come to neighboring countries such as: Argentina, Colombia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Venezuela and even Mexico.
