It is one of the common names of an oversized constrictor snake and aquatic customs. It is also called yellow anaconda, kurijú, curiyú, comuti. The word is of Nahuatl origin and means duck snake or aquatic snake. Its scientific name is Eunectes notaeus and belongs to the family Boidae.
