In the Amazon basin is one of the common names of a medium-sized tree and its fruits. It is also called camú-camú. Its scientific name is Myrciaria dubia and belongs to the family Myrtaceae. It grows in the wild in flooded soils. In Dominican is the name of a river of more than 140 kilometers in length.
