It is one of the common names of an aquatic plant. of the family Pontederiaceae. It also receives other common names: aguapey, lettuce, water hyacinth, water lily, bora flower, water buchón, camalote, water lily, tarulla or reyna (queen). Its scientific name is Eichhornia crassipes.
