CALIGÜEVA In Venezuela: common word that, curiously has its origin in the English language. The American technicians who began the exploitation of the oil in the Zulia region suffered the suffocating heat and said Calid Wave in their comoquios. The locals turned it into caligüeva to say reluctance, laziness, discouragement.
