In the Plural, Caguanes is the name of a national park in Cuba, the name of a peninsula in the same area and the name of one of the islets in stone keys. It is also the name of a key, a village and a hill. Caguán or caguane is the common name of which is given in Cuba to sea shells. Cahuane, was the name of a pre-Columbian indigenous people settled in Argentina.
