A pager, also called beeper, or paging device is a small electronic device that receives messages over long distances. The first pager only received messages of audio, with the technological evolution, those who came out to the market then were more intelligent and text messaging; with the advent of cell phones, and smartphones, these devices have now been practically obsolete.
