In Medicine is the name of an eating behavior disorder that can have serious consequences for the patient's health. It is also often called bulimia or bulimine nervosa. The patient has a high intake, but vomiting is caused. In Biology it is the name of a genus of ameboid protists who live among the sediments, especially marine (benthic). They belong to the family Buliminidae .
