Borofaginides : Extinct subfamily of canids endemic to North America during the Oligocene and Pliocene .
It means they eat everything. It is the castilianization of Borophaginae (subfamily to which the genus Borophagus belongs). They are prehistoric ancestors of the American canids. They were known as bonebreakers, bone shredders or bone eaters.
