JOHN

BIOFUEL FUEL of vegetable origin. In reality they all are because a fuel is a hydrocarbon or petroleum derivative, which was produced as a decomposition of organic material and by the effect of high internal pressures. But the prefix bio wants to emphasize that they are derived from current animals and plants such as cane, herbaceous plants, woody materials and biomass in general. Its main benefit is the decrease of polluting material. Some biofuels are biodiesel, bioalcohols (bioethanol, biomethaneol, biobutanol), biogas, syngas, and solid biofuels, such as wood, charcoal, and sawdust.
