It is the study of garbage and waste produced by human beings. Thus, it is the vigilant inspection and analysis of products called garbage, produced by a population, to learn about the activities of the population, in order to learn from the activities of the population and its behavior on issues such as waste disposal, food consumption and its ecological impact. It is also known as garbology.
