A native of the Colombian municipality of Barrancas in the department of La Guajira. It is also one of the common names of a bird. It is also usually called barranquillo, momota, momoto, lionbird, jutu jutu, amazonian watchmaker, burgo. Its scientific name is Momotus momota and it belongs to the family Momotidae.
