A person who is part of a criminal gang, or a political side or party. In Colombia, a group of people who consider themselves despicable and vulgar. It means crowd, crowd, mob, plebs, mass, vulgo, horde. It was also the name that was given long ago to a type of guerrillas or bandits in Colombia. It also means gang member, criminal, criminal, bandit.

Is very clear that formerly ( until the early 16th century of the 41 17TH; the word "Bandit " wasn't the meaning we give today. It was used to refer to those who were part of a "Bando " in other words, of a party. As said don Luis María Soler, " The bandits were armed against the Central power protest, others shouted long live the Earth! and down the bad governments!
