The word badana is a name or word with literary twist, from my land Tomaykichwa, Huanuco, Peru. It is part or component of an artisanal instrument called "Kallapa", consisting of three parts, 1. - A piece of wood forming the letter "Y", usually used from a branch of a tree. 2 . - A rubber sheb, whose measures are 20 centimeters long and 2 centimeters wide, and are two jebes, the same that are secured in each part of the piece of wood. The rubber is usually cut from bicycle cameras. 3 . - LA BADANA is a piece of leather, which can be found cutting tanned leather from cattle, rams and others. As well, it is found in leather shoes on the instep part. This leather device, are secured in each terminal of the sherbe. All this, form the CLAPA , and is used to hunt wild birds, where the small stone half oval, is placed in the BADANA , and then holding it and stretching it, is aimed at the target, and then welded it, causing the rapid exit of the stone towards the target, Many times, you are lucky with a good aim in the farmhouse.
