In Colombia, it has two different meanings. One is Rob, steal using weapons to intimidate, skip, attack, loot. The other is used in sailor slang, meaning to moor the ship in port, anchor, anchor. In Chile it means hitting, paste, push and in some countries of Central America is to scold, discuss argue.
