arísaro . ( Of the lat. )(do aris? rus, and this of the g ?). 1. m. perennial plant of the family of the Aráceas, herbaceous, with radicals, large, thick, heart-shaped leaves and light green, which was created a common about 20 cm, with spathe whitish, closed at the base and in the form of Hood from above, to wrap male and female, separate and devoid of calyx and Corolla flowers. The entire plant is viscous, bad odor and pungent; but after cooked, eaten, especially the root extracted from the abundant starch.
