In Colombia, it is a dessert made out of boiling milk and lots of sugar. It is similar to the condensed milk, but more solid.

You say sweet made from fresh milk and sugar, this sweet also known as Dulce de cajeta, Manjar blanco, was once one of the products more important in the trade of the city of Arequipa, Peru with countries of the great Colombia, textile goods and spirits, therefore deductible is taken by the name of the city of origin : Dulde of arequipa, then Confiteure.
