Arabah or Arava is the name of a very dry and hot desert valley of Israel, located between the Dead Sea and the Red Sea. It is also called Salt Valley. The word as such means savannah or desert. It is also a type of small military aircraft built in Israel. Arava is the name of an antirheumatic drug whose generic name is Leflunomide, which is used to treat severe arthritis.
