In Ancient Greek it means mustard, watercress, name of a plant. In botany, it is the name of a genus of plants in the family Brassicaceae. A Greek word for Arabia, which is from Arabia, or the ability of these plants to grow in very rocky or parched soils. Name of an asteroid (1087).
