The Aquiche is the same tree of caulote, cuaulote ( in nahuatl ) that in colombia we call guasimo, guasima, guacima majahua ( Guazuma ulmifolia in the family Malvaceae ). A special feature is having trunk hollow, full of porosities or vacuoles.
