Apocuna is the name that was known to the members of the imperial Council that advised and assisted the Government of the incas in Peru. The apocuna also called aposuyo or suyuyuc apo, was the Governor of one's own and formed part of the Royal panaca (family of the sapa inca, maximum authority and considered son of the Sun God).
