In geography and the antipode, Antipodes ( from Greek anti: " opposite " and pous, podos: " foot, 34 foot; ) It is the place of the Earth's surface diametrically opposite to the other side; i.e. the place of the Earth's surface farthest. According to the dictionary of the Real Academia Española (RAE ) the DRAE, an antipode is an inhabitant of the globe which, with respect to another, dwells in a place diametrically opposite.
