In medicine it is the same as dysmetria. It refers to the difference in length between the limbs, especially the legs (lower extremities). In Entomology, Anisomelia is the name of a genus of insects belonging to the family Geometridae. They are moths of colorful designs and colors.

ANISOMELIA Length difference between both lower extremities. 90% of the population has a difference in leg length. 10% have a noticeable difference. When it is significant it is an LLD or large lenght discrepancy, a pathology that is usually treated in childhood.
