algavaro . ( Del ár. Hisp. (do to the? awwár , the algarero, because their long antennae look like Spades). 1. m. Coleoptera insect in the suborder of the Tetrámeros, very common in Spain, for more than 20 mm in length, entirely black and with their antennae longer than the body.
