aguaitacaimán . ( Of aguaitar and Cayman ). 1. d. bird of Cuba, of the same genus as the herons, of about 40 cm in length, including the peak, which is 5 to 6. It has a head adorned long feathers of metallic green, and white throat and chest and dark spots. It feeds on fish and molluscs.
