It is one of the common names of a thin and very long cactus found in the Southern Andes of Peru. It is also known as San Pedro, Wachuma, Achuma, Aguacolla and Gigantón. Its scientific name is Echinopsis pachanoi, and it belongs to the Cactaceae family. It is considered a mother plant and is used in many rituals by indigenous peoples.
