I sweet flag is incorrectly written and it should be written as "Ácoro." being its meaning: The correct term is Acoro, the Reed-like plant, is aquatic and that belongs to the genus Acorus. You are known as Calamos, rods or aquatic calamos. The scientific name is Acorus calamus and are of the family of Acorus. It has medicinal uses. It is also used as filter material in wastewater treatment the same as the Phragmitis comunis. It was formerly classified as an aberrant member of the family Araceae ( aracea ) , but this term does not exist in the current taxonomy.
