Meaning of acedera

In Colombia is the name of a very common herbaceous Plantic. It has medicinal uses. Also known as Alleluia, clover, clover acid, vinegar or nacedera. Its scientific name is Oxalis acetosella and belongs to the family Oxalidaceae. In Europe they also say Sorrel to several plants of the genus Rumex and belong to the family Polygonaceae. They are common as cruet, perucho, mardiasca or Sorrel names. In Colombia it is called sorrel. It is considered toxic.
