Plural of abazon, derived from the late latin word: bacha, bachus, baga meaning Bowl, box, bag, and these in turn of going vasis: glass, vessel. It is a parallel to the French word abajoue ( 41 cheek pouch;. They are expandable bags located on interior side of the mouth of some mammals such as monkeys, squirrels and other rodents store food and transport it to the burrow.
