Meaning of abanicos aluviales

abanicos aluviales: alluvial fans- relating to the storage of various detritic materials dragged by a river current, which, when losing drag capacity, usually at the foot of a mountain, constitutes a triangular or conical format structure and from there, expands through a flat or valley area that surrounds it.; Alluvial fans- belonging to the accumulation of materials, in the form of a fan or cone segment, deposited by a current, which rests in a relief area and expands and ends in another plain. -
