It usually bodes well. It is a reflection of good feeling, loyalty, fidelity, affection. An aggressive dog reflects just the opposite.
As with elementary symbology, the dog is significant in the dreams of both its partner and its friends and/or family. If the dog's behavior is aggressive, it shows a fear of possible infidelity.
