The tunbaga is the name that the Spaniards gave an alloy of gold and copper which manufactured the indigenous America. numerous goldsmiths pre-Columbian cultures that stood out for its rich gold, such as la Tolita, the tairona and the quimbaya, used the tumbaga for various ceremonial objects and ornaments.
