Traspolar does not exist in Spanish. I think that the correct word is trans-polar. TRANS-Polar is the adjective that is given to a path that passes by or near a polo ground. However, I think that traspolar, in this case, refers to something else, is rrefiere to a popular way of saying extrapolated, that means using something known as a as element to explain something.
