It is the name of one of the most numerous native peoples in North America. They live in southern Canada and the North Central United States. They are also called Ojibwa, Ojibwe, Chippewa or Saulteaux (they are an Anishinaabe people). Language that this same people speaks, and that belongs to a branch of the Algonquian linguistic family.
