NEOLENGUA literary concept that appeared for the first time in the novel 1984, written in 1948 by George Orwell. It was a new artistic language, which today has become a new political language, based on stories rather than arguments, insults and denotations rather than counter-arguments, use of common places and deformations of the meanings of known words, i.e. malicious manipulation of the masses through language.
