Meaning of muzamar

muzamar

He came here as a query from a synonym for some meaning of "isamar". Regardless of whether or not it is real (it may make etymological sense), it occurs to me that it could also have another meaning if it comes from the Arabic muzama ("dry, dried"), which in Spanish already gave rise to mojama; but you have to confirm if someone uses it as a "dry fish"?

Danilo Enrique Noreña Benítez

It means cherishing, saving or accumulating money. It refers to a Jewish custom of being very measured in expenses and saving (and often being greedy or stingy).
