It is a term used in Colombia and Venezuela, especially in the Llanos, which means hungry, garoso, golozo. Who eats too much. Glutton. It can also mean greedy, stingy. It derives from the word lambuza, which is a way of calling the fox or raposa or a long-snouted dog.

It is said of those who feed badly, of the wolverine who eats sweets or junk food, by extension of the angurriento that takes the food of the other diners. It is a colloquial variant of lambuzo with the suffix -ento .
