It was the name of a silk road corridor, It is located north of the Taklamakan Desert, south of the Muzat River. Ancient and small Buddhist kingdom settled in the same region. It was also called Kuche. It is currently the territory of Xinjiang and belongs to China.

KUCHA ancient Buddhist kingdom whose territory is located in what is now Aksu Prefecture, in Xinjian, China. It was a branch of the Silk Road, which ran along the northern border of what is now the Taklamakan Desert.
