well, as I've read, here in Puerto Rico the name that has meaning red pepper is a plant that seems a pepper, but a little less than ( 1 " ) one inch of red and very hot color that is used for cooking and seasoning food, is also used to make 40 pique; a variety of ingredient that are used between one of them is the hot pepper to do that which we call pique, used to throw the food before eating which gives a spicy taste to food 41, I believe that this name chilli pepper used is in another countryeach country has its way of calling you things, but the description is the same.
